This seems to be a relatively long running issue, IMO. The LB's have not been a priority since the Luvu signing.

They also tried to sign perryman that season but he got himself cut, exact reason up to speculation.

they had that slow white guy from Denver.

uh….shaqs contract was renegotiated like every year from 2021-2024 if that counts

Drafted, uh…..Brandon Smith?

Yeah, it's been a comedy of errors there. Wallace is about the only real investment of note and that's been pretty underwhelming to date.

I hope they get serious about it this offseason. There were some serious prospects that dropped into the 2nd and 3rd this past draft that are producing like gangbusters.

We’re probably going to be drafting middle of the pack this year. Prime first round linebacker territory

Or 2nd round. As I said, BPA but if that player is a LB, fuging take one already. It's been too long.

I would have love to have had Campbell or Schwesinger from this draft.

Yeah and Pickens destroyed us. We were fortunate that Lamb was injured.

And we all know they put Pickens in the other side of Horn.  If Lamb was in he would have been a non factor.  On top of that we shut down a running attack and tight end that was before and did after our game run wild!

I think horn was covering Jake Ferguson that game which I can understand.

Pickens is a monster and most corners in the league can’t man him up, obviously not Jackson. But we absolutely do not have a linebacker that can stay with Ferguson.

That and the Falcons just inexplicably shitting the bed. Not to say our defense had no part in that, but the Falcons definitely just flat out didn't show up that day and Penix in particular was god awful.

We catch 'em when we can. Glad we could be there for them on that particular day. Would love to see it happen again on next meeting.

I think the Falcons are way overpriced right now.
