Much better teams coming up and they all have the plan now. I don't see them beating the birds or even the taints' from what I have seen this Sunday. Another 5 win season up coming. How one guy is able to fug up a whole season on his own is amazing. Of course the front office (not doing jack sh%t about the situation), didn't help.

They dead in the water.

This is an overreaction. As down as I am on them, and as much of a must win as Sunday was, we still have a solid team, and some winnable games.

Chicago has a murderers row schedule remaining.

We play Tampa Twice.

The playoff window is still wide open, but I don't expect us to climb through it.

While I don't think were good enough to pencil in an W's, I'm not sure were bad enough that any remaining game is unwinnable.

Have you not seen our remaining schedule? I would love to see where you see multiple wins.

We just beat the team with the best record in the NFC 8 days ago.

I don't see any W's or L's at this point.  I see a bunch of "idk."  As mentioned in the post, We can lose to anybody.

I'll go through it though.

@Atlanta. Who knows.  I thought they were going to be really good. They've been really average. We killed them. I expect them to be better at home. But were definitely good enough to beat them.

@49ers. Fully expect to lose. They have too many weapons on offense. But they also can't stop a nosebleed. Their QB's stink too. So Who knows?

Home vs. Rams Fully expect to lose. But until yesterday, we've been pretty solid at home. I think Stafford has a field day against our defense. Poona Ford seems like exactly the type of player that prevents us from being able to run the football. This is the least likely W in my opinion.

@Saints. I mean I think we are better than them but they just poo pumped us. So who knows.

Home vs Bucs. I think they are better than us, but we were playing well at home. Who knows if you get good baker or bad baker. They have some injuries. idk

Home vs. Seahawks. I think they are really good. Sam Darnold could turn back into a pumpkin, but I expect to lose this game.

@ Bucs  I think they are better than us, but same as above.

I'm not gonna go that far.

Hate to say it, but this is looking like another one of those years where we'll win just enough games to put us out of position to draft players we could really use 😞

Draft position isn't all that important tbf

We usually ALWAYS split with ATL so I'm expecting a L there

Kyle Shanahan always toys with us. We are his doormat.

Rams are going to obliterate us. They've been playing some of the best football in the league

Seahawks same way. Bryce might not have 50yd passing in this game.

Saints game is a tossup, this is the only win I see happening

We MIGHT split with the Bucs because division games are wonky, and they might rest starters week 18, so of course we'll ruin our draft spot by about 7 spots just for a annual "moral" victory to end the season

The ONLY way we sneak a win or 2 our of this remaining schedule is if Dowdle or our defense has one of those games where they take over. Other than that, Bryce isn't getting past 150 yds in any of these

We will probably beat Tampa week 18 against their backups to screw ourselves out of three or four spots in the draft

And a large number of fans will go nuts celebrating that win "because we've been poo for so long" instead of being able to objectively realize how winning that game hurts the franchise overall.

    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
