The excuse from our org was that he didn't interview well. We even had Vrabel scheduled for an interview too. But Tepper was his usual impatient and impulsive self and rushed into hiring Reich and then became hyper focused on drafting "his guy" Bryce Young. Honestly it probably didn't matter who we hired it was always going to end badly because of the Tepper's.

Steichen was one of two or three young up and coming coaches whose interviews here were quickly dismissed.
