I'm sure you thought this is a super slick and accurate comparison just for giggles here are both players career stats... no names although I will point out one has a 4k 20 td season

Nah. It was an off the cuff joke.

For the record, Grier is currently back on the Cowboys practice squad.

It's an unnecessary hot take. Both are good.  Chuba had the hot hand yesterday.  Let's not forget Rico has had nagging injuries all season and yesterday started with him getting dinged up almost right away.

When we had Williams and Stewart, Williams was (by far) the better back, but there were always those stretches where Stewart would get the hot hand.  Rico is clearly the superior back, but it's good to have someone like Chuba who can come in and make plays when things are bleak for Rico.

Chuna won't be the starting running back if we ever win a Super Bowl that's for sure.

Has he hit 500 yards yet?

Is that supposed to be a newsflash, considering his snap count. He's already proven his metal here, so to act like he hasn't is simply silly. Simply just silly.

His snap count is that for a reason, he's had one good game this season against the Rams.

What's silly is trying too discredit what our 1000 yard back has done this season when our season was in the dumps at 1-4.

If we make the playoffs we need both backs and no Chuba shouldn't be starting

Chuba needed more touches today just like Rico. Canales abandons the run game way too quickly.

    • Through 2 games cltfc has 12 shot attempts. Opponents 23 shots on target. Attack sucks, Defense definitely sucks. Kahlina is the only reason they haven't given up 14 goals in two games.
    • I met a few times--never liked him. I figured he might have had a bad day--but then realized that he must have a lot of bad days. Once he raised his voice at my son because my son did not understand a question when SS was signing his jersey.  I wanted the jersey to represent his encounter with a Panther great, not some small man with a bad attitude.  I told me son, "Forget it.  He was asking you what your name is (My son was about 7 and told me that he thought Smitty was going to write (my son's) name on the jersey.  He said "Dad, I thought he was supposed to write HIS name on the jersey, not mine."  I said, "He was personalizing it, writing it to you--like a birthday card."  He is now grown, and he has a steve smith Jersey that is framed and matted.  He keeps it is his closet.  I asked him, "Why not have that out on your wall?"  He said, "All I remember is an A-hole scribbled on my shirt.  I don't remember a legend or hero.  But he had a Jake Delhomme Jersey on his wall.  "Jake was great.  I will always remember that."  (Jake stayed and talked to us for about 5 minutes or more--GREAT guy.)
    • Is it possible for someone to regress in maturity as they age or has Steve really just been a jerk his entire life?
