I love this pick.  He was laying wood all over the place.  I will be quite interested in his PFF score. His sack turned out to be a huge turning point in this game.

It really has.

funny thing is bc Tet only had one catch today people have not said one word about him today and it was for an almost 50yd TD catch on 4th down LOL

theyre making the plays that are presented to them. That’s the best part. 
 

also, Mike Jackson has just been solid af with us. He makes ya mad sometimes but damnit he makes plays too.

He made like 3-4 big hits in a row and set a tone even before his sack. Don’t know how sustainable his play style is but I always love a hard hitting safety

His playing style today reminded my of Bob Sanders, the Colt safety from the Manning/Dungy era. Whenever he was healthy the Colts defense played at another level. The only SB those two won together was when Sanders was healthy at the end of the season. 

He was a hard-hitting playmaker that set the tone for the entire defense. After 2006, he seemed to always be banged up and couldn't finish the season. Colts were never as good defensively once he became injury plagued.

If Ransom could play like Bob Sanders did in his prime, and stay healthy throughout his prime, his presence alone could make us a top 10 defense.

He was an enforcer for sure and gave the d some pop and fearsomeness. When moehrig gets back Scott should be special teams only. He can communicate there

Ransom is exactly the type of player Morgan wants.  Tough, nasty and hungry.  To build a great defense you have to have those types of players that want to punish people.  Our greatest defenses have always had these types of players.  

Future looks bright.
