Arrowhead is done, as Chiefs make move to Kansas.

I don't think they have broken ground on it yet, but this possibility has been floating around for a while as a path to upgrade/modernize the old stadium.

It is similar to what went on with Soldier Field, and now that has had the consequences of the Bears wanting something new anyway since Soldier Field is the smallest stadium in the league.

It is the end of an era as Arrowhead has long had a reputation of being a difficult venue for visiting teams, as well as not too many of the old legendary stadiums are around anymore.

I had the privilege of watching a Monday Night game at Arrowhead, loudest crowd ever! Now they piss it all away by building a dome? Jeez these fans show up at 6 am for a 1 pm game… and it’s cold as faux! This really shocked me, just sad!

The tailgate action at Chiefs games is the stuff of legends. I have never been to a game there, but I might have to go to 1 now before it's closed.

The NFL should go back to all outdoor stadiums.  Weather has always been a factor in games and they shouldn't ruin it by everything indoors.  Plus all games should be on natural grass.

Then again I am old school and love the days of the Baltimore Colts playing in the snow and mud.

Sorry sir, this is about entertainment,  and weather games don't fit that definition by NFL standards.

If every stadium was outdoor fans would still show up. If they can play in Buffalo and Green Bay outdoors and still fill the stadium, they'd fill the stadium anywhere.

New stadiums, and specifically new domed stadiums, mean hosting a Superbowl. Even if it is a cold-weather city.

I, myself, love open air stadiums and playing in the elements. I'm old school.

The NFL is not.
