I really do wish we could get a radar gun reading off of Bryce because I suspect it is a good 5-10% lower than average.

I also bet that maybe it is much better with the proper footwork and throwing mechanics than it is with his little tippy toe poo.

Weakest arm in the league, easily. Combined with terrible footwork and that shits never going to work. Maybe if he could see over the line instead of a constant scramble drill trying to find a throw he can make.

Its like he steps back and hes like fug 3 throws i cant make, fug it ill check it down late af and get my checkdown option blown up.

this is made up bullshit, no way you watch bryce float balls and throw up rainbows and come to the conclusion his velocity is 55-60 mph, theres no way in hell, sorry.

if the average QB velocity is 55-60 Bryce is more like 40-45 if that.

he does a drive by and drops bullshit but never circles back when people point out its wrong

Kurt is correct.  One of Bryce's biggest issues is throwing behind his receivers and being late on the throw.  That is 100% true and I wish this tread had actually discussed that more.

Average velocity on throws in the NFL is 54mph.  Estimates for Bryce are around 55-60mph.  For reference, elite arm velocity for guys like Josh Allen is 60-65mph.

Every scouting report has said he has the NFL arm strength to make all the NFL throws.

What he does NOT have is the ability to generate power with just his arm.  This limits him in a crowded pocket or when he can't generate power with his base.  The lack of power from throwing without a proper base is a smaller issue.  The BIG problem is how this combination effects his accuracy.

It causes him to throw late and behind his receivers.  This is why he has to play with timing and anticipation.  Numerous other QB's in the league also have this same issue.  Jared Geoff,  Mac Jones, Drew Brees are examples.

I should have asked, where did you get those velocity numbers? I am interested in the topic.

I don’t know from scouting reports but are you talking pre draft when they were praising him and basically lying about how good he was gonna be and he was worthy of being the 1.1?

mostly interested in the velocity receipts though.

I cant believe people would give pie to that trash post. There is nothing about Bryce to try and salvage, move the fug on good god.

I gave him pie for that back half of the post the late throws etc. Didnkt really even think about the velocity numbers that much. But didn’t think it sounded right.

Highest velocity any QB at his combine got to was 58 and that was just to one direction.

Random example:

Anthony Richardson Florida 53 (Left) 54 (Right)

and that is at the combine where they know they are being clocked for velocity. So you know that likely is situationally influenced to be higher than what they actually throw normally

Cam Newton combine - 56

zero chance the average gets up to 60……from 2008-2023 literally one QB at the combine cracked 60. Josh Allen.

DeShaun Watson was always a floater in college and pros.  He was 45.

Bryce has to be super low.  Way lower than that AI bot was suggesting and thats where those numbers were from

Cam had one of the strongest arms ever and he hit 56 at the combine, but according to this asshat the average velocity is 55-60 mph, the poo is completely made up with no base for his information whatsoever.

Bryce has a weak ass arm and anyone who watches him play can tell pretty much immediately. Fuging bryce stans and their cope gets outrageous.

i think byoung has decent arm strenght average to just below when he has perfect pocket and can set perfectly.  i think when he has to throw off balance his arm strength is by far worse in the league this last few weeks i have wondered if he is injured bc even his short checkdowns have lacked any velocity floating like ducks.  been lucky not to have had tons of ints defenses just play so hard to stop the run they leaving pretty wide open passing windows

His arm is significantly weaker than any of those guys, so what are we looking at around 30-35?
