Lol Moore has 5 yards on 1 reception for this season and Im not even sure it can be said he is a lateral move from XL.

The only upgrade there is Hunt. Moore is DC's Scott but somehow worse

The only reason I say Moore is an upgrade, is he plays a ton of roles on special teams mainly but he also doesn't make boneheaded plays when playing a wr spot.  Him knowing down n distance in a playoff game is already a upgrade over XL.

He knows the offense

he knows how to run routes and block

can actually catch the ball

he will be where young expects him to be

and plays in special teams

he is no Pua but he is ions better than whatever it is that Legette is right now …and as sad a statement as that is, it is the truth

Moore is one of our best special teams players.

that's what people say.  So who you gonna deactivate...for him to be this great special teams player (that hasn't seen action in months) and then give him there WR snaps as a perk.

I'm only cool if it is XL.  And it's won't be.

he has the lowest ceiling of any skill position player you could put on the field.

but as I said, I'm okay w/ it being XL.  But odds say it wouldn't be XL.  It would be Tremayne or Horn.

Lol go look at his numbers. 5 yards on the year and 351 last year. XL produces more.

The only thing he has going for him that matters is special teams. Otherwise he is a wasted roster spot just like Dalton.

He isn't an upgrade over XL. He is just a special teamer who is the coaches pet.

I mean, there are ample amounts of inconsequential bums on our roster to deactivate. If you were to guarantee no chance of injury, you could probably deactivate 10-20% of the entire game day roster with no problem.

But, yes, XL SHOULD be the one deactivated. That poo should have happened weeks ago.

Hasn't he been injured?

Lol. Yes. The people pointing at the only 1 Rec for 5 yards are missing the context of him playing less than 4 games on the season. Also, if we are going to use stats, he is technically our surest catcher on the roster at 100% catch rate.

The people freaking out over him being activated are being hyperbolic. It's a fuging nothing move for a special teams guy and a depth WR. He ain't winning nor losing us a playoff game.

Can we measure football iq

these numbers do not mean anything to me as Canales has tried for 2 years to get blood from the turnip that is XL so moore was not in the field very much before his injuries

xl makes far  too many dumb ass mistakes that after  2 full years he should not be doing

Cannot do that in the playoffs, not with  this  offense, not with this qb.

All the IQ in the world doesn't equal production. XL isn't good and I would be happy to see him gone. Moore is a wasted roster spot at this point and actually a worse WR. Moore is cheeks. I was just using XL to explain how bad he is.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
