Interesting stats on Coker

XL can do a lot, he has the size, speed and physique. But I'm always so baffled how he can make a routine reception look like a circus catch. Catching doesn't seem natural to him. 

And it's the same story on the defense. I just want to see someone who can fuging TACKLE! We got so many guys leading with their shoulders. Looking to hit the truck stick. But then they just completely whiff. 

So that's what I'm hoping to see us focus on going forward. Follow the example of Coker and TMac and find guys who first and foremost are fundamentally sound. The rest will all fall into place. 

This is the golden rule of football. Stop looking for "athletes" and find ball players. If they can catch the ball every time it hits their hands or tackle everytime they get their hands on a guy, the guy is a football player. Doesn't matter whether he looks the part or not.

I hope they do keep Coker. I would go ahead and lock him up on a 4 year deal after the season if I were GM.

Yeah, a more productive QB may make certain WRs already considered busts more productive. I am just glad Bryce finally took a walk on the wild side and gave Coker a chance in the endzone.

Seems easy right draft receivers who know the route tree and can catch but we chose XL   I swear there are huddlers who could draft better
