Now come on. So Bryce Young offers no value to this offense? Ever? Come on PNW. I think Bryce Young would be a much more successful player if he was drafted by Philly.

I'd love to see Young run a 'tush push'.

So you think Hurts took Philly to the Super Bowl then, right?

I disagree. I think he was a passenger but he wasn't driving the ship.

At least he is carryable is the point. The Panthers can't even carry Bryce to a winning record.

Why is everyone getting so up in arms about this?

OP provided two extreme solutions. Short term success, sacrificing long term benefits or the reverse.

There are shades of grey in life, which this poll doesn't account for.

It isn’t everybody. It is the faction akin to those that brought us threads where you could only say positive things about Bryce.

It is a troll poll anyway. There is no such reality where the options  given in this poll will ever influence Bryce Young’s future or the Panthers’ future.

Drama

edit I said that wrong, the lose option is really the one that is not realistic. They have made their decision already, pretty sure.

Yall are a little unrealistic. This is the first time in his 3 years that this QB has had a roster they could actuallyt win with - and we're in the playoffs. No one to throw to and the worst interior oline this franchise has ever fielded as a rookie. Defense was meh but would get worse. Second season Derrick Brown gets injured for the year in the first game and we march out the worst run defense (and possibly overall defense) in the history of the NFL. So many on here talking about an average QB would have this team with 12+ wins. You're delusional. How many games would we have won last season with just an average defense? KC, Philly and the first TB games off the top of my head. And that's with Thielen as your best receiver, rookie XL and rookie Coker. David Moore was the second best receiver last season. David Moore. This season the defense has improved but we're lining up too many rookies to make it to the playoffs on both sides of the ball, yet here we are. I ain't saying Bryce Young is the answer, but he has been a big part of some big wins this season. I'm hopeful that we'll see improvement when he has more time with this very young receiving corp. Remember, they're learnig how to be pros at the same time as we're going to the playoffs. The only veteran receiving  presence we've had this year is Tommy Tremble. We could actually see big improvement if David Moore comes back healthy. And that is saying alot.

Thanks, yea the very specific black and white extremes were intentional.   I know there are way more scenarios in between.  It was more to gauge overall  extreme perceptions of the team going forward and bryce young.

I think most of us know that we're going to get the worst of both worlds.  A humiliating loss and another year of watching an abomination at QB.

That is what I am expecting. Hoping not and know we could be wrong. Still if I am honest….

They will need to play well or things could really go south in the stadium after the anticipation and pregame with the stars jacks everyone up as high as I think it will.

    • we have 2 solid/above average (however you want to phrase that) wr's, which is more than half the league at least.  We dont need to be blowing more first round capital just to placate Bryce and his limitations.   We have one absolute stud (probably top 10 wr) in tmac and we have a high floor guy with insane potential if he can stay healthy.  Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league.  If you need to add some speed or whatever, sure draft in the mid rounds or wait until tc cuts.  Its monumentally stupid to spend 3 straight firsts on a wr if thats the route they go.  ITs just more and more excuses for Bryce, thats where we are at now.    "How can bryce succeed without a big possession type wr (drafts 2 for him), how is bryce supposed to exceed without a speed guy......."   Its fuging never ending.  Give EE some goddamn help on defense for once
    • Tight ends in the first round just have so much risk. Even guys that look like guarantees at the position, fail. OJ Howard is a big one that comes to mind (and I REALLY liked him and thought he was going to be a stud in the NFL). I know that every player/position can be a gamble, but when you look at Kyle Pitts (he's come a long way, but he has clearly underperformed), TJ Hockenson, Hayden Hurst, Noah Fant, Eric Ebron, etc., NONE of these guys changed the dynamic of their team for the better. Zero. In fact, most of them end up being traded before their rookie deal is up. This draft has some good tight ends. I wouldn't spend a 1st on one.
    • Not true. I mean, come on dude. You went to "above average" to "solid." The teams that I mentioned have at least three solid options. Let's not waste time going through the motions.  But, maybe someone will see it as fun. Njigba, Shaheed, Kupp (maybe even Barner and/or Arroyo). I didn't even lost everyone. The Jags, Minny, Detroit. I could probably go on. Our WR corps is just not up to snuff. Just admit it.
