Game Balls for an Amazing Game

MVP: Panthers fans. Ya'll made that stadium a rocking, HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE. Thanks for showing up and supporting despite all this BS we have all been through.

Defensive MVP: Mike Jackson. What more can you say? This guy had an unreal year and he played his ass off this game. 

Offensive MVP: Jalen Coker. This dude has ARRIVED. We can move XL without any question, Coker is the future.

 

HELL of an effort to even be in this after that start. We might be back after all.

It is kind of cool, and a little bit telling to look at the atmosphere from the game, compared to that of the 1st Falcons game, where 1 of the excuses for a shutout Falcons loss was that, "it was a sleepy place to play."

We've never had a consistent winner, and I'm not advocating that this team has arrived, but they played well, considering their limitations, and almost got the impossible win.

I swear I saw echoes of Steve Smith out there when Coker made those catches.  Not exactly the same player obviously, but Coker has that fire in him that can take over a game.

At the absolute bare minimum, he appears to put in the effort and work that some other teammates ignore.

Mike Jackson had an absolutely phenomenal performance at CB. I don't know if he allowed a single yard.
