Crazy turnaround from NE and Jax this year. Wish the Chargers could god damn get it together for 1 year and make a run

And yet jax made it no further than we did, and its very possible the Pats don't either. I think it speaks more to the overall down year for the nfl as far as having great/dominant teams, every team this year has fatal flaws that can be exploited

Agreed. Once you get in, nothing means chit anymore. I do think the NFC West are juggernauts tho

Herbert peaked as a rookie

I think Herbert's overrated but the guy hasn't had much of a chance tonight. This D is on his ass like white on rice. The difference in tonight's game is that Maye has handled that situation better than Herbert, his experience at UNC having him well prepared for it. LOL

Herbert getting pressured, looking rattled, and fumbled again. I understand that the O-line isn't having a good night, but you still have to protect the ball the best you can. When they come, sometimes you have to take the sack to live another day. This has been bad.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
