Outlook for 2026

I wasn’t able to watch the game today and am just now catching up on what happened. From an objective standpoint, what’s the outlook for this team heading into next season?
I’m especially curious about how Bryce performed. I’ve been critical of him over the past three years, so how did he show up in the playoff game?
What happened to the run game?
How as the offensive and defensive playcalling?
And ultimately, is there reason for optimism going into next year?

Proud to rep this team in California. #KeepPounding

Watch the replay of the game and you will get a better understanding. As for going for? It will be a new team next season and you cannot expect any momentum to carryover. Each season is always different and it's own unique beast.

Entirely depends on how the biggest holes are addressed in the off season IMO, we also probably have one at LT now

We need pass rush, better linebackers in coverage, upgrade Nick Scott and to upgrade both slots on either side of the ball. Plus maybe find a proper tight end to lead the pack of our part timers

ILB (draft) , EDGE (Pref vet)  actual receiving TE (some good options in FA Godert and Pitts)  i think Ransom steps in for scott

    • Wish I would have been able to see the game yesterday. I can’t modify my opinion without doing that.    People said we went downfield more and were aggressive. If I have one thing that is a dealbreaker out of all of it it would be the lack of a downfield game. That has been an issue since his first game in the league.    If we had one I would be a lot easier on him. Even though I would never have drafted him in the 1st round, and have viewed him as totally unworthy of the job we gave him these three years.
    • I will be watching what Green Bay does with their WR room. Doubs is set to become a free agent. I doubt they bring him back, but if they do, that’s a crowded WR room with Watson, Doubs, Golden, Reed, Wicks, and S Williams. I’d really love Jayden Reed if he became available in the last year of his rookie contract.
    • D’Marco Jackson, App State grad and Gaffney graduate may be available. He’s absolutely shown out for the Bears when he’s gotten his opportunities. 15 tackles one game, INT, Bears defense played a lot better last night when he got on the field.    4.4 speed shows up at MLB.
