I will agree with the McVay connection. I think the culture stuff is fluff and wishful thinking though. He doesn't have the numbers to show anything.

He hasn't truly accomplished anything at all but reportedly he is a great leader. I think the question is if he would be running your defense too. If so, there is no way I would consider him. He's a below average defensive playcaller.

All I know is there are some damn good coaches that former players vocally hate (Flores). Being a good leader can be the difference between a team fighting and a team that wants the season to end and to be rid of you.

Teams continuing to have 0 time outs at the end of halfs is baffling.

Either they blow em or they needlessly take them into the half. There's like a handful of coaches who understand clock management.
