How low has this fan base gotten when 29-31, and 10th in the East has the "fans" in a frenzy of how good this team.  Detroit came in here and beat the brakes (literally) off of the Hornets.

Kon is a good story, and I admittedly hated the pick (and was wrong).  But much like the Panthers, until this team fixes its coaching staff, they will continue be a "maybe we back door into the playoffs every once and a while" organization.

Beat the brakes off us? What are you watching? We are 17-2 with Ball, Kon, Miller, Moose, and Bridges starting. The fact that you came up here with that idiotic response is laughable.! GO AWAY!

Embarrassing that we finally have a team worth watching and a message board with 15 fans. Any of our savvy tech guys that can go back and post all of the negative comments about drafting Kon? If I recall, most on this board hated the pick.

How does disliking a draft pick have anything to do with anything? I didn’t like it, thought there’s no way his ridiculous college shooting percentage in a small sample size would carry over long term in the NBA and didn’t think he would be able to stay in front of the ball defensively. Still have questions defensively but overall glad to be wrong. However, once that couple days of debating draft picks subsides, he’s part of the team and I don’t go on and on about it. I also was one of the few Miller over Scoot folks here, but again I don’t really see what it matters what you think on draft day as long as you support the guy once he’s a Hornet.

Because I find it hilarious how many people like yourself thought it was a terrible pick. And I can laugh at that. Don't get your panties in a wad because you are one of the veterans on this board,. Can we all agree this message board is terrible, we have about 10 people that post on it, and think they are the only people with opinions that matter. I also find it funny you respond to my comment, but this comment gets no response. You didn't have to respond at all if you didn't like what I said.

You excited because they've beaten Washington, Chicago and Indiana - who all are tanking.

Hip Hop Hooray!!!

Let's see what they do @Boston, @Phoenix and @San Antonio coming up. If this team is above .500 on 4/1, which is coming off a 7-game home stand, I'll be shocked.

They have also beaten the Rockets, Lakers, Spurs, and Nuggets...

And they've lost to Indiana (twice), New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Chicago.

We are "17-2" with our CURRENT STARTING 5! Miller, Ball, and Kon are the top 3 in the NBA in 3's made since Jan. 1st. If you aren't excited about this squad, then you just need to move on, you wont ever be excited.

Yeah I'm not sure what more fans can currently want.  We are trending up with a bright young core who is only going to get better.  We started off terrible but are on a hot streak now that everyone is healthy.  We won 9 in a row, beat some of these top tier teams, and like you are saying are 17-2 with out starters playing.  We also have a lot of draft capital moving forward.  Our coach seems to be getting comfortable too.

Dang we’ve got a record breaking rookie and barely a peep in here.

Yeah.....and so many never wanted him..... Absolutely hated the pick. Same with Miller.

We should be very glad the Hornets front office finally trusted better judgment in both instances.

For whatever happens from here at least we finally have some young promising talent reminiscent of the 90's Hornets.

We can’t have nice things around here because there are a lot of negative dickheads. Jesus Christ enjoy that this team has turned the corner and it’s looking really good for a change! I’ve been a member on this message board for many many many years and the last couple years I’ve seen more negativity and miserable fugsthat I’ve ever seen before. With that being said, go Hornets.

I don't see the logic in focusing on perceived negativity for a franchise that hasn't won a playoff series in about a quarter century.

Let's get in the playoffs and win and go from there. If these Hornets can finally get over that hurdle and win a playoff series you will see a different vibe from the fanbase that is for sure and it will have been earned.

Haha. I was at the Hornets game when Rambis hit a buzzer beater layup vs the Bulls in 1988.

Which is why I don’t give a poo about a team that will be 40-42 and back their way into the play in game to lose, again.
