Man, Rasheed Walker just sitting out there right now while we have the 99th ranked LT slated to start.

I seen that too.....I mean Dan should give him a heat check like "Sup buddy, you want to re-try this free agent time next year?? Just sign here and I promise to give you all LT snaps even if Icky comes back..... Sign for 6 million plus incentives"

He supposedly wants 20m/yr. But now they don’t think he will get it because the dude from the Giants resigned at like 15/yr. Keep in mind both of those are less than we are paying Moton.

I would offer 3/48. Break a bunch up into a bonus and spread it out.

They really should do that. We are cap strapped by this but we have to get this situation squared away.

20 ?Q!?!!??! that seems unlikely right now unless injuries hit some LT across the league. I know that Trent WIlliams was rumored to get cut.

The best solution maybe one year deal and try again next year. Green Bay has always done great with developing OLmen and Im sure teams are pointing that out.....If he leaves the mecca, will he still play at a high level?

I mean 10-12 for one year plus extra fluff.....I know it would take more "hernaiy" magic... still this stuff happens each year, agent/players/family think the market will _______ and its far less...best to do another one year and show them you are 20+ worth...

I said nice things about you A’Shawn and only asked that you stay out of the division. Thanks.

yucs gave him MORE than the Panthers would have..... I mean that's a statement and I hate how well he knew this D system.....

Here I thought it was joke about allowing his agent to talk to teams, they found a team willing to give more, so maybe he did have trade market, just not fast enough.

Yeah but if they wait they give up nothing. A little agent team collusion sets that up.

This was done too close to the deadline to cut anyway. I am not blaming us, it is set up for that to happen with this calendar the NFL uses. It happens everywhere and we have taken advantage of it too.

I guess it all comes out in the wash. Let’s get one of theirs.

Winners

Carolina Panthers

No team made a bigger splash than the Panthers during the opening window of free agency. Carolina began by agreeing to terms with edge defender Jaelan Phillips on a four-year, $120 million deal, snatching the highly touted pass rusher from the Eagles, whom they acquired at the 2025 trade deadline for a third-round pick.

Carolina was quiet for much of the day to follow but closed out the night with another blockbuster signing, bringing in All-Pro linebacker Devin Lloyd on a three-year, $45 million deal.

While the deal to acquire Phillips is a risk because of his extensive injury history, the team's need for a high-caliber pass rusher was evident. This past season, Carolina finished 31st in PFF pass-rush grade (60.5) and pressure rate (30.3%). Although Phillips missed significant portions of the 2023 and 2024 campaigns, he’s undoubtedly a potent pass rusher when healthy, ranking in the 91st percentile in pass-rush win rate (16.8%) over the past four seasons. Carolina’s young pass rushers, Nic Scourton and Princely Umanmielen, can learn a lot from the new addition as they head into year two.

Lloyd, the third-highest-graded linebacker in the NFL last season, profiles as a strong center piece for a Panthers defense that struggled mightily at the position, failing to field a single player with a PFF overall grade above 55.0. The former Jaguar’s all-around game resulted in PFF grades above 80.0 in each major defensive facet in 2025.

Why would he agree to being a starter for that?

It depends on how he is used but Bryce had absolutely shown that he will look for his lil safety blankie. That habit needs to be broken not encouraged. ,
