Who is going to take a shot at Malik Willis

My guess:

Jets, Dolphins, Browns, Steelers will be very interested in Willis. Falcons (if they think Penix isn't the answer) and Vikings (if they think JJ isn't the answer) could possibly be interested.

It has GOT to be awkward in that Vikings front office right now. You won 14 games with Darnold just to let him walk to hand the reins over to McCarthy who looked like absolute trash while Darnold turns around and wins the SB. Oof.

Everyone clowns on the Jets and Panthers for the Darnold stuff but he didn't play well at those stops. He DID play well for the Vikings. The Jets and Panthers decided to move on from a bust that wasn't working out. The Vikings decided to move on from a guy who was playing at a legit good starting QB level to go with the guy they drafted to be their future. They're the ones who made the bold move with Darnold. The Jets and Panthers did what pretty much every team would do in that situation. Yeah, they failed organizationally around Darnold but they didn't choose to move on from a good QB.

Saints? Super Bowl? Just can't see that happening.  But, I would've said the same thing about the Seahawks and definitely the Patriots this time last year too.

I hope not in the NFL Picture for this year it had Darnold and Maye up front the new Picture has Kamara and Waddle of the Dolphins are at the front

I don't see how Cleveland can be in on any FA QB, considering that DeShaun Watson is still owed $46 million in 2026, and his cap hit is $70 million.

I haven’t followed the tawdry tale of Watson and his massage therapy, basically at all.
Being ignorant, I have to wonder how that stuff doesn’t relieve his employers from their financial obligations. Seems like that is a ‘for cause’ scenario.

If that were true, I doubt he'd still be on the roster.

Yeah I would say if they had an out they would obviously have taken it. Just seems like these big deals should have some clauses in them for criminal type behavior.

I guess his exposure was civil more than criminal…. the victims more interested in settlement money than seeing him punished with a conviction.

Like I said I haven’t really followed and I guess I am saying it a shame he still gets paid out on that deal. That the team has to give it up, and that he profits so much from doing harm.

Cleveland traded for Watson long after the incident. His issues have been bad play and injury since then. Why would that relieve Cleveland of financial obligations?

That poo happened when he was a Texan. There was a full year a public drama and legal proceedings in the media and then Cleveland traded for him knowing all of of It.
