Boom has massive upside.  But he has wr been great or even good since they announced he was a part of Quinn Hughes package.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he had an agent telling him protect himself right now. It just doesn’t look like boom out there. He won’t hit. Defense isn’t good. Something is up.

Like I said you are high... as a kite. He is a rookie its NORMAL to have ebbs and flows.

Manufacturing a story yourself is silly, also its HOCKEY there is a very non zero chance he is playing hurt.  Being available for one of the top two D in the NHL by far doesnt mean the Canes would trade him for any of what is currently available.

I am high, but that’s besides the point! The blue line is not good right now. I’ve said it all year. I don’t think this group meshes well. Slaven has been just OK Niki up and down Miller up and down ghost and Walker have been your most consistent guys. Maybe it comes together more towards the playoffs

It's chemistry they haven't all been on the ice together much, combine that with thats just who Miller is and the fact Nikishin *although Uber talented* is still a rookie whose also learning English.

If you want to listen to pure comedy, tune into 99.9 the fan in Raleigh. Adam Gold is $hitting all over the fanbase for wanting the GM to make a move. It’s borderline dick riding. Be happy with what you have kinda thing.

FWIW, I like Adam Gold, but he is on his typical heater

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
