Schefter on No.1 Pick

That's just not true. Bradford hadn't played in a year because of a shoulder injury and Suh was coming off one of the most dominant displays by a defensive player in a single college season. It was only at around this time last year people started talking about him at no.1.

...so let's assume Schefter called Bradford, do you want to start going down the line of bad calls this "insider" has made?

Of course he's been wrong plenty of times (Russ Grimm etc..) but as far as insiders go he and Glazer are two of the more respectable ones.

I am trusting Hurney, Rivera, etc to do all the due dillegence and make the right selection. That being said I am hoping Cam ends up being the guy. I know other QB's have done this and gone on to be successful NFL QB's but something about Gabbert passing on doing much of anything at the combine would raise a flag to me. I know all the reason why, etc, etc but at the end of the day they are athletes and are supposed to compete. Choosing to not compete for whatever reason is not a quality I would like for in a QB when it came down between two guys I was evaluating.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
