Dane Bruegler’s 3rd draft with writeups from ‘The Beast’ in Athletic

The Panthers have not had a top 30 visit with any of those guys yet. Miller is a possibility I suppose. I think they have their eye on the NCS TE. If they go oline in the 3rd I hope it's for a center. I would not be surprised if they took Rodriguez at 19 either.

I hope they draft another Notre dame TE for the hell of it

It is in the Athletic…paywall.  I subscribe to it

i can look up something if you want me too

I sub too, I just couldn’t find it. I saw rankings, the whole download the Beast thing, but no 3 round mock. Google didn’t help.

Too late to edit the above post. So…

NM I just found it. Passed on Proctor for the Clemson guy. Mildly confused there. In a bad way.

We passed on Golday for a TE. Not confused there, hate it.

Passed on true C Slaughter for the G. I mean, if they want the G to be a C and feel like he is superior athletically for the position, I get it. Grade = Incomplete without that info.

Proctor, Golday, & Slaughter sounds like one hell of a draft! I don't get it either.

I feel like everyone keeps projecting Stowers or Sadiq to us. I just don't see it - I think we value in-line TEs more than most teams (and why our coaching staff likes Tremble and Evans). I think Klare is probably the only top 100 talent TE we could potentially draft. Maybe a day 3 pick on Roush, Raridon, or Delp

I'm kind of surprised Proctor is still graded as a 1st round talent. I highly doubt this guy makes it as a tackle in the NFL - his pass protection has many red flags and I think he will easily be beat like a drum by speed rushers (the Oklahoma edge rusher showed us proof of that, and by no means is he an elite pass rusher). I feel like all of the Bama tackles are top heavy with good strength but don't succeed at tackle in the NFL.

That being said, I do think somebody reaches on Proctor just because he is freaking massive. He could be a very good guard, but those can be found outside of round 1. If you are drafting him because you think he will be able to play tackle, good luck to you

I’m not scouting them myself. I quit spending hours and hours on that all the way back when Hurney would trade out of a pick and all my ‘scouting’ was worthless. I did do 2023 because it was unique.

I heard the stuff you are saying and then I read some stuff that went counter to it. It is probably more that I didn’t think the Clemson guy was rated that high.

Unless the bloke can cover 4 positions across the line for injury is the only way I'd take him this year and Proctor the big unit probably could

Proctor is my exception, but my ass GM job does have enough security......

Its about 2 weeks away, me thinks you will start hearing from all the "experts" " Teams really like proctor more than the mockers, watch him for a top 10 pick blah blah blah".

Need a star like fall for his services, besides he can play WR/TE

He's got some RB plays too........come on Dan get him!!!

Screw it put BOTH of them as running back in the I formation ...... If I was on defense, "Timeout TIMEOUT TIMEOUT!!, my hamstring suddenly got tight coach, no idea why...."
