Round 3: The Carolina Panthers select WR Chris Brazzell II (Tennessee)

There is one thing that stands out about Brazzell that I don't like and don't know if it can be coached, because it seems like he does it reflexively: he jumps to make the catch nearly every time. Even if the ball is at his chest or waist, he jumps. Limits run after catch, exposes him to bigger hits, and lets the defender make a play on the ball before his feet come down. Could be an issue.

Could he be at least what Ginn was for us? Incredibly underrated for what he brought us in the ability to take the top off and keep Olsen open all game.

Thats the same knock that X had in college. Body catches and the insistence to jump. Thats why we gotta give these trait guys time to develop.

Is Xavier Legette would jump and come back to the ball every time in the NFL….he’d be twice the receiver he is.
