lol it's a roll call of the nut gobblers.

btw why is it that I've seen people like KT argue that drafting Newton would alienate a large portion of our racist hick fanbase only to later claim that he would put asses in seats and sell tons of jerseys.

he would bring in new fans, ideas, etc. which is something this franchise desperately needs. The "be rabid about conformity and not winning" philosophy has grown stale and tired. The current fanbase as is cant carry this franchise financially obviously. We need growth and new ideas about a successful football team.

Not good enough. We need a quarterback that will spend a season+ on the bench.

I mean look at the Titans. They drafted VY(better athlete/QB prospect than Newton) and it completely changed the way the NFL is played. They're wildly successful and VY is on his way to multiple super bowls.

Want to draft him because he's a phenomenal athlete? Fine, fair enough. Want to draft him because he has a high ceiling? Sure, agree to disagree but I understand the reasoning behind that. Want to draft him to put fans in the seat? Asinine reasoning.

      Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
