RFA tenders may get locked in

Looking more likely that 2010 rules will be in effect because it is the easiest thing for a judge to allow while the rest of this mess gets worked out.

So far I've only seen two of the tenders on Panthers players published. D-Will got the highest (1st & 3rd) and Moore got the lowest (no draft pick compensation since he was undrafted). Any other tenders been published?

IIRC DWill got a 1st & 3rd round tender ($2.562M) as you said, CJ got a 1st round tender ($2.017M) Moore go 2nd round tender ($1.417M) and everyone else was tendered at the round they were drafted ($927K)

Yea, I'm pretty sure that article you read was flawed. As far as I understand it, NO tender can equate to a pay cut. If you get any sort of forced contract (tenders, franchise tags), it will be at least a slight raise over the previous year.

I just read today that Moore's tender was only for roughly 1 mil but with the old rules he has to get a pay increase from last year which would be worth roughly 3.5mil

Anyone have any more insight into this?

    • did a great job getting us out of cap hell. also did nothing to make the team better once we had a roster good enough to compete for a super bowl for a hawwwg mawlie enthusiast using first round picks on shaq and vernon butler which were luxury picks while strutting out the likes of nate chandler, byron bell, matt kalil, mike remmers to protect your franchise QB was malpractice. and then of course the norman fiasco and drafting kelvin benjamin over davante adams, jarvis landry and allen robinson and doubling down on devin funchess the next year. for a guy that "came from scouting" it was crazy how he drafted 2 tall unpolished receivers simply because Cam "threw high" I remember him and Rivera thinking Byron Bell would be a better left tackle than right tackle because he was left handed lol
    • Beane took over in 2018 after Josh Allen was drafted. He's drafted 2 Pro Bowlers his entire tenure. James Cook and Dawson Knox The Bills had a generational QB fall into their lap and have wasted his prime much like we did with Cam. Alot of parallels and it's even funnier when they've had so many of our former players and built their front office around our old employees
