Lomas Brown:D+ for 2010 Draft Class...Ouch!

you really don't know who lomas brown is? dude went to numerous pro bowls, paved the way for barry sanders, played almost two full decades (as a starter) and is probably one of the best OTs in recent decades and a deserving hall of famer.

before Clausen entered the picture, John Fox did nothing but win with scrub QBs. The guy flat out knows how to win w/ QB is a weaker spot on a team.

Clausen just sucked so bad a coach who consistantly won w/ crap couldn't get squat done w/ Clausen. Lame duck or not, Fox was the same coach playing/coaching just like he always did.

I disagree, I think Fox and the loser squad knew they were jobless in 2011 and didnt try to coach the new guys at all. Don't be surprised if Clausen has a decent year along with Armanti under a competent offensive coach

If I remember right, Lomas played almost as long as Jackie Slater.

2-1 w/ an undrafted rookie. Looked pretty dang sharpe as rookie in his 3 games. Team around him was no better than what the highly praised pro ready drafted Clausen got.

Clausen just stinks. That is it. Fox has proven he can win w/ subpar QBs.....he did it w/ Jake, he did it with Moore, he could bring a 89 yr old in for a week and win. Fox flat out could coach w/ weak QBs in play.

Fox couldn't work magic....you take a step down from weak QBs play and go to the Carr/Clausen level and they are just going to kill any shot you got.

explain to me why Matt Moore looked like a train wreck last year?? You mean he can scheme for shitty qb play when the running game is going good and the defense stops people? The one thing Jake had was a great chemistry with Steve and Moose. give the dude a little more time, he might surprise you

Fox had no reason to coach up Armanti. Armanti was a project and wasn't drafted by Hurney to be a WR in 2010(only in fans eyes). That isn't an example of Fox hurting the team.....he let he project sit. AE wasn't drafted to be part of Fox's farewell season. Fox already had more WRs than he needed and ones that weren't getting the ball in their hands when open.

Fox has played w/ too many weak QBs and done too well with it for that. Fox can take a QB bad or young QB and win.....but he can't if the QB goes all David Carr. Clausen did.

AE is a bad example imo to try to tie to Clausen's suckage. Gettis and LaFell seemed to of gotten plenty of coaching......so did Hardy.

I would say Matt Moore played VERY little football in 2010.

I would say people try to tie too much to the few bad quarters and try to make them mean so much more than they really do.

Matt Moore didn't need 13 games before he could then remotely function as a QB in Fox's offense. He did it as an undrafted rookie. No excuse for Jimmy b/c he was so bad there simply isn't one....other then him just not being remotely decent.

OK OK, David Carr is statistically one of the worst QB's in football history and was the 1st overall pick. Noone expected Clausen to do poo last year, if he was that good he wouldnt of slid 2 rounds. I just think Fox didnt give a fug about him or his record, he was trying to stick it to JR

I'm sure he commands plenty of respect and cares about the players but I never thought Fox was a good coach X and O's wise. He seems like he's over his head and should be an assistant
