Yeah that's about as stupid as you can get. I'm not even going to hold the any other player to this. This was AP being a dumbass and my God I hope doesn't represent even one other current player.

Not only is it an insult to men, women and children who suffered through slavary in America but it's an insult to former NFL players who did suffer under a system that was very unfair (but even then not comparable to slavary). I don't think the players in general are doing themselves any favors by continuing to disrespect the former players of the NFL. And I can see how some of them are going to use a statement like this and run with it.
