Updated Wonderlic Scores

difference between a 31 and a 42 is really unimportant when it comes to the QB spot.

It is very possible Gabbert scored a 31 the first time he took it. If you take it twice and your second score is way higher I think they consider your first to be the primary one.

Certainly no problem at all with a 31. I don't see where this was a retest but it's possible.

They went on to say that some of the scores are mis-leading, pointing out for example that Prince A took the test last year and scored in the teens. Apparently, experts are not sold on the validity of a single score when there is a large deviation from the first test to the second.

Sorry. I don't see any gain in drafting Peterson and dropping Gamble, and I wouldn't trade anything substantial for Gabbert.

I really think that if PP is the pick, then it is a sign that Gamble is on the way out... I have just had that hunch for a while, and that move would be the icing on the cake when we have bigger needs right now than CB...

If we draft PP it just cements that Marshall wont be here. Gamble stays.

Revis got a 10

Asomugha got a 24

what does that mean? not much imo.

Right on. Apparently raw talent and gut instinct smash the $#!t out of wonderlic. In other words, it's like the kid who can't read or write musical notes, but can play the heck out of a guitar, piano, saxophone, etc. etc. etc. Does the sound of the music change when we learn they can't read or write music? And before people begin to say you can't compare music with football...it's just an analogy....stretch your mind a little bit, unless your wonderlic is a single digit, I'll understand. lol

Ok, it's been mentioned that the Wonderlic, while an indication that a team should study a player further, isn't really a great indicator of intelligence.

I decided to test this theory by asking my father-in-law to take a few if the sample tests. His average score was 17.

Still, I'm gonna go out on a limb & say that he's smarter than anyone on this forum. Why? Because one of the major reasons this forum (& computers, smart phones, game platforms, the internet in general, etc...) is due to him. He invented a way to put far more connections into a chip than ever before. He won pretty much every award for super conductors that exists... & that's just one of his patents.

He's been involved with dozens of established companies & startups since the mid 90's. In bonuses, he's been given about 1% of the gross his work created...

Oh, it created about $9billion.

So yeah, its a reason to take a closer look, but it doesn't mean that the person is dumb.

Wait... your father-in-law is worth $90 million? Do you have any sisters-in-law?
