Who are we looking to trade?

It didn't say who would give us stuff for players, it said who are we looking to trade.

Hopefully we're looking to trade him

Why would we trade a player if we weren't going to get anything for him? It is not about just dumping guys off, it's about getting in people who are going to improve our football team. Enough with this nonsense.

I don't think it would be worth trading anyone. Anybody that we could trade would probably end up hurting us with their loss then what we would receive out of it. I know Gamble get's a lot of hate around here but he will be missed if he leaves. A motivated Chris Gamble can do anything you need him to. I'd like to see what Rivera can do with him. If we got PP7 too that would be epic.

Beason is obviously god and cannot be traded. TD has more potential value here than what we could get for him.

We have 3-4 years invested in Anderson. That would suck ass to let him go just because he's finally arrived. He's also TD insurance, and we know he's good.

Connor, I frankly just don't want him to leave because having ridiculous depth is a good thing. He's the only one we could trade and be ok, but even then we would probably just draft a late round MLB to replace him.

Sherrod Martin. Hell no he's going to be very good.

Godfrey has improved and his talent will get him at least another year or two to make it to probowl level.

Wharton and Kalil are anchors to the line, no way do they get traded. Otah makes the run game go, injured or not he stays.

Gross... I could possibly see him gone but what team would trade for a 30 yr old tackle.

Obviously the rookie WR's are not worth trading. Steve Smith? He only goes if he wants to go. We won't get much better than a 3rd for him. However he can still play at a 1st round talent for us. So unless he wants to peace out he's not leaving.

Deangelo Williams. Sure we could trade him. Yes he's 28, but he also splits time and everyone loves him and has pretty much been promised to be taken care of.

J. Stewart. He's god and cannot be traded.

Mike Goodson. This would be a dumbass trade. Goodson is emerging, I know people bring up his fumbles but this guy has serious moves and he's probably the fastest guy on the team. If Deangelo goes down and we've traded Goodson we have no home run threat. Plus if we trade him, we will just draft another late round speed RB who will take 2 years to to develop.

Sutton. He's solid with good abilities all around, definitely worth keeping. However he's not an insurance for all you people who want to trade Goodson because we have Sutton.

Goodson has the ability to change a game, can't exactly say the same of Sutton.

So therefore we should not trade our players.

The highest pick we could get out of a trade and not lose depth is probably Conner, and you'd probably looking at a high 3rd. But even still he's coming off injury. Deangelo might get you a 2nd but the only team I could see giving that up is Green Bay or maybe NE. But GB has an emerging RB. As good as Deangelo? Hell no but that would still depreciate Williams in a trade. And NE has numerous picks as always.

Clausen might get you a t-bone steak or a ham sandwich. Which we could use to get Matt Moore all big and strong again.

You guys are taking the interwebz way too seriously but if I had to answer I would say addition by subtraction.

Matt Moore

He's not under contract.........yet.

Also, how often do teams trade their best QB?

Dude, the big deal with Connor is I dont think TD is going to be able to come back. I like having Connor and Anderson, and I think they both deserve to be on the field. I just dont know what we are going to do in the draft. We have 3-4 top priority needs so I think BPA does the job there. I like Peterson, but that 9 on the Wonderlic scares me quite a bit. I know gamble got a low score too and it did not really matter, but that may be just enough to eliminate him from #1 overall if we were thinking it. I really like Peterson or Dareus, but if we are doing something with the LB core, I would not be shocked if we drafted Von Miller either... hrmm.

    • One thing I will say is you always have to get in the last word and keep repeating yourself as if that makes you right. Since Bryce and Canales are on the same page and this pffensive scheme us designed for Bryce uour round peg argument is off base as well. But don't let that stop you since it hasn't in the past. Unless you can say something new or use facts and expert opinions to back up your comments as I have, I am done.  You clearly have nothing to add to the conversation but the same circular comments which are simply your unsupported opinions. I don't have time to waste going back and forth. Carry on.
    • since this a Thielen thread, here's my 2 cents....Mentoring is one thing, but could there've been bad advice also. Not saying he purposely told Young bad advice but not all advice is good. Look at that Raiders game, before that Thielen was clearly upset with Young(hence his benching) but Thielen got hurt, Young came back better. N we really didn't beat the Raiders(they beat themselves, there was a bit of anarchy going on remember, D.Adams perform a coup)    Just like Young first yr, the coaches (Frank) wanted to sabotage Young(hence the fastest hire n fire coach in history proves that.  Young is a good seed we planting but we first have to get rid of the bad apples. Thielen saw his time coming to an end and wanted to leave n go home.    Just like Renfrow, slow, n sorry but I'm so glad we don't have to hear about his comeback story every time we play. Thielen was reliable, but we need speed. And he beat up, still has lingering injury issue, oh but ya'll didn't know that(or maybe u do if u look at the details of his trade). Dan just got him off the books and got some capital, GREAT JOB DAN...btw Morgan push for Young over CJ, and it's no coincidence Canales was picked to coach Young up. At the end of the day, with Tmac, XL, Coker(probably will break some of Smitty's records except the triple crown but if he does oh boy). Coker needs to be on the field. He couldn't with Thielen in the picture.
