it's been reported he has been working to get better. it's not like he's skipping ota's/training camp. it's not like there's a season to look forward to.

What does that have to do with anything? If the guy wants to head to Europe during the offseason, ANY part of the offseason... who cares?

There are a lot of dedicated NFL players that are actually training now because they are treating this offseason as if we are still having a season in the fall. He would be training instead of traveling if there was no lockout

No, actually this thread is about a knee-jerk reaction to the perceived actions of a player without doing the slightest amount of research to see if one's perception is accurate.

WiserthenU is Sean Wiser. WR, S for Stanford. Before that we went to Oaks Christian HS. Why does that sound familiar? Because Jimmy went to the same school... At the same time.

Looking at Wiser's twitter page, he just got back home after 3 months in Europe. While there he didn't use his smart phone (most likely because there are tons of horror stories about $4K+ phone bills) so he's catching up with his friends. Since they played on a state championship team together, it is likely that he & Jimmy are friends.

So that puts Jimmy's post in different light. He's hanging out with a friend who just got back from Europe, telling stories about what he did there.
