Interactive Mock 2.0

FDN

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, we are running the Interactive Mock again due to popular demand. The fan forums of each NFL team get to vote for who their team should pick.

Last time Panthers fans chose Nick Fairley and 12 people voted total.

You can cast your vote for who you want your team to pick here:

Interactive Mock 2.0

And if you explain why with a brief short description, I will pick the best one and publish it along with the pick!

*For mods: This is not spam. I am just trying to get the right fans to vote for their respective team. We have done this already with most NFL team forums and have not had any issues. If you have any problems, please let me know.

Darius- better overall DT than Fairley though not as dynamic. I think he's the safest, most logical pick.

So far this is the best write-up! Short and sweet, but unfortunately Dareus is getting outvoted by both Newton and Gabbert

This QB class is really weak, let someone else blow a top 5 pick on these guys. PP7 is my BPA and I was riding his train for awhile but I'm giving a slight edge to Dareus now.

He's not far behind as far as value (my #2 top prospect).

Much bigger need.

Higher positional value.

CB class is REALLY deep. Will be easy to add another CB later in the draft, through free agency, or just resign Marshall.

Though I'd still be happy with PP7.

Going to let this run overnight and tabulate the results in the morning.

It's still neck and neck between Newton and Gabbert. In fact, its even closer than it was before despite a lot more votes!

Well you're going to have to convince a lot of your fellow fans against him and Newton. From the looks of it, Panthers fans have settled with the possibility of taking a QB in this draft at #1.

Btw, here were the authors comments for the Panthers pick:

-Panthers fans came out with a vengeance. After having the lowest vote total last draft, Panthers fans shattered the previous vote record with a total of 260 votes!

-However their is still no clear consensus among Panther fans as 4 players each had more than 15% of the votes, with the winner having 28% of the total votes.

- North Carolina voted for Cam Newton with 42%, and South Carolina voted for Patrick Peterson with 44% majority

    • Like your sense of humor.  The answers we seek often lies in the question we ask.
    • This is going to be one of the more competitive camps we've had at WR in awhile... The only locks are XL, TMac, and AT. Coker and Horn Jr both have strong chances at making it. I can see David Moore being WR6. Renfrow might be the WR7 if they decide to carry that many, or he could join Dan Chisena on the PS (who gets stashed to help on ST more than at WR).
    • Sure, but I have long acknowledged he got better.  He went from horrific to mid-lower end starter.  But now you can’t say that…..you got people wanting to spin top 10 play if you look at it this way, great deep ball passer if you only acknowledge x.   I mean the headline in that article is nice for fans to run with.   But in reality Bryce Young was not the best deep passer in week 12.  Far from it.  He went 2 of 7 with no TDs deep.  The week was full of guy who went something along the lines of 3 of 4 with a bomb TD.   So Bryce then gets appointed best deep passer for say….plays like a 50/50 jump ball while trailing late to a fully covered AT that goes incomplete but could have been something given how the defender played it….not an actual good play.  But that could have been a good play.  I mean, same play could have been a pick if everything else was the same and the defender who had AT blanketed played the ball better (nothing changes for Bryce in terms of what he did.  It’s just a 50/50ish ball to someone covered)….and his entire best deep passer week 12 is built off plays that never happened over guys that actually got it done.   we should be happy Bryce with from shouldn’t of been drafted play to serviceable starter last year.  But all this spin that he is somehow actually sneaky great just ain’t something I’m doing yet
