I wrote myself a mental note and still forgot to watch. I desperately need DVR. Anyone care to tell me how it was???

I did the same thing. But it comes on again at 12. I might be pulling an all-nighter if I stay up to watch that though. Damn 8 o'clock classes. If I don't get at least 7 hours of solid sleep, I don't wake up. Period.

i have an 8 too, which is why I can't watch, gotta a lab and I must be able to function so I don't eff up.

Terrible first fight. 10 minutes of lay-n-pray.

This is what I heard. Im sure it will be on 1 million times btw now and next Wednesday though.

This season will be a tough one to watch unless the house fighters are a fun group. Dos Santos struggles with english and him and Lesnar seem to get along ok. I would have rather the coaches have been Wanderlei and Leben, I could see fieworks there.

On one of the MMA sites I frequent, someone brought up a great idea if UFC could budge on their stance after the Strikeforce purchase:

Diaz v Miller as coaches

That would have to be the highest rated season ever. Diaz has a lot of loyal followers and a TON of haters. Miller is a very camera friendly guy and has a lot of fans of his fighting AND from his MTV2 crowd.

Add in the hatred between the two and it would be pure fireworks.

The house fighters wouldn't even matter

I agree Miller and Diaz as coaches would be great entertainment. They would fight before the end of the team selections.

      It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.

      Dude he didnt play in pre season.....  he didnt practice at all with the team until the end of October.    I do agree though.

      Bryce had a hand in the Miami win but not nearly as large of one as Rico and he also had the extra burden of being a big reason we were in the hole in the first place. If we get a winning season he is definitely back for next year though.
