I used to be that way. I always wanted to be with people.

But a few years back I found myself sitting on a rock a few miles south of Clingman's Dome on the Appalachian Trail and the "silence" was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Nothing but me and nature. No cars in the distance, no airplanes, no din of people and our existence. I could look down the slope of the mountain to the east into North Carolina and quite literally turn 180 degrees to look down the slope into Tennessee. Don't get me wrong, Ive got family and friends Id miss and want to get back to but I could have sat on that rock for a week.

ah, now here's a conversation that could last for hours..

I definitely understand where you are coming from.. without derailing the thread (or maybe this isn't that far off), I'm coming to a crossroads at life. Wanting things I hadn't considered much before. Less go with the flow and a little more contemplation on future ideals. I say I want to be around people, but what used to be 10-15 going out on the town is more those that I actually enjoy having conversations with.

(and watch, this weekend I'll prob'ly hit up the town.. old habits die hard)

I've went on many a treks in the past, usually with a few people. And at some point, run off for a few hours to soak up life. life without any thoughts outside of the moment and truly appreciate everything my eyes can see.. that warm feeling is something we all seem to strive for, but fail at it miserably.

I wish this thread was about whether or not people could stay away from the huddle for 7 days and all the same yes answers came through...I'd be happy to help with that

pfft... If I stopped posting, not only would the Huddle be less interesting, but you'd lose a lot of my followers...

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
