Wow, crazy 2nd half in ep 4.

Can't believe Ser Barristan died! At least he took a few with him tho. Sucks that he's so old or else he would've clearly solo'd. Looks like Grey Worm survived tho. What a beast!

Really disappointed that Dany allowed this uprising to happen tho. She's miles off from being a proper Queen. She's made a lot of bad moves IMO. (yes I know she's young but still)

Anyone else a little perturbed that they give Missandei/Grey Worm ANY screen time at all.  Their "relationship" means nothing.  Out of all the fat they're trimming from the books, they leave this in.  Insane.

I think they're going somewhere with Grey Worm/Missandei else they wouldn't make it a point to show them.  I think both of them are going to have big influence on Daenerys about something coming up... not sure what tho.

 

This episode was a little more "actiony" but this season is still averaging on the slow side.

 

 

I'll admit they have a hard task trying to fit in all the different character arcs that are ongoing... they probably pull their hair out trying to figure it all out.

 

They've all but forgotten Bran and his stuff... so that's got to be coming up before the end of the season.  Maybe since Jon is going north now...

 

 

The biggest plus for me on Ep5 is that Daenerys stopped pussy footing around and did something.

Apparently they've started filming the 6th season already and Bran is on the set:

They are stockpiling a lot of big moments for the second half of this season. Second half should be pretty crazy if they are like the books

I think one reason this season isn't as good as the others to me is that I'm struggling to remember where the books went and where the show is going. I really need to re-read the books. I'm still loving this season, I just find myself thinking about the plot while I'm watching it...essentially making myself confused.
