Danaerys Targaryen was raped by her new husband on their wedding night in season 1. Cried her eyes out while it happened. Then she asked one of her handmaidens to teach her how to properly be subservient and please him.

But Ramsay isn't a big handsome man so it's way worse.

Did u see bruises on Sansa?  Did you see bruises on Danaerys?  At least Khal Drogo loved Daenerys,

I'm just talking about that first night. Danaerys was raped every bit as much as Sansa was. Both were forced into a marriage they didn't want, both were taken from behind harshly on their wedding night. Both cried.

Sounds like a good porn movie to me.

Nah, bruh.

Your argument is invalid because those bruises weren't shown until the next episode.

The only thing we saw was Reek crying and we heard Sansa struggling.

In season 1, didn't we actually see Daenerys on screen?

I also think a lot of this has to do with GoT gaining popularity after it's first season.

But feminists will find anything to complain about these days, so who knows?

I think the controversy is a tad contrived as well... it's a damned fictional show... they're not glorifying rape, it's just what happened.  The guy is a psychopath... that's what psycopaths do...  he cut Theons dick off... omg the outrage!!!

Decent episode this week...  obviously seeing sand snake boobs improved their storyline tremendously...  I really like the visuals of Jon Snow in the snow going off to north of the wall...  plus Samwell got some ass so I'm sure he's happy.

I thought this week's episode was packed with a lot of good stuff...

This week's episode, Hardhome, should be pretty epic... I'm thinking we see White Walkers.

Supposedly there is a huge battle scene in this episode that took two weeks to film. It might even last the majority of the episode.

Casting calls for next year:

Looks like Iron Islander stuff:

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/markcassidycbm/news/?a=121002

Pirate, man in his 40’s to late 50’s. He’s “an infamous pirate who has terrorized seas all around the world. Cunning, ruthless, with a touch of madness.” He’s a dangerous-looking man. A very good part this season.

and maybe Sam the Slayer's family too:

Father. Aged 50’s to 60’s, he’s one of the greatest soldiers in Westeros- a humorless martinet, severe and intimidating. He demands martial discipline in the field and in his home. It’s described as “a very good part” for next year and that he’s “centrally involved” in a protagonist’s storyline.

Mother, in her 50’s. She’s a sweet, plump, and adoring mother, and has a soft spot for one of her children who benefits from her decency.

Sister, in her early 20s. She’s a kind, friendly and unpretentious woman.

Brother, in his early to mid-20’s . Athletic, a good hunter, an excellent swordsman, manly, not particularly bright but the favourite child of the father.

Corrections to my previous post. The Hardhome battle took FIVE weeks to shoot... And extra budget... Stuntmen appeared to be wielding ice weapons, and IMBD has two former White Walker actors listed for the episode. The battle does not make up the entire episode. Also, there is some hints that we will see White Walkers in the finale too.

Sam giving the dragonstone dagger pretty much sealed that they'd meet WWs. Chekov's gun or whatever they call it. Same with Jon's steward scowling, Sansa picking up that drill thing to stab Ramsay, and Tyene cutting Bronn (which came to fruition the next episode). Show has been very hamfisted with the foreshadowing this year.
