Jon seems like he isn't all there. Like a small part of him didn't come back, and the way he spoke to Mel made it seem as though he wished he hadn't been brought back in the first place.

I think he is becoming increasingly dejected with everyone. I saw signs of it even before he died, and his death is magnifying it for him. I mean, literally his own people stabbed him in the back. How would you handle coming back from that if not to hate everyone and have some pretty big trust issues?

Jon was beating Ramsey to death until he noticed Sansa watching him.

In that moment, Jon realized it was more appropriate for Sansa to preside over Ramsey's death (revenge for all the torture she endured at Bolton's hands).

Later, when Sansa asked Jon where Ramsey was being held,  Jon would have had to explain to Sansa his rational for placing Ramsey in the dog kennel rather than a dungeon or tower.

So it follows that Sansa would have been aware of Ramsey's threat to feed Jon and his compatriots to the dogs.

I mean there doesn't really have to be an explanation... and I'm sure you're right as to why Jon didn't just kill Ramsay there in the yard, but the edit cut made it seem like she just went straight to him... it's a minor nitpick.

My wife and I made the very same comment about Sansa quoting Ramsey's dog eating comment you did, for what it is worth.

Watching it a second time to pick up on the more nuanced moments helped us draw our conclusions.

GOT providing only snapshots of complex events leads to much speculation.

The speculation is the hook that keeps me coming back for more.

Oh CRA I think you're confused... Davos is saying "Tell him what you did to HER" not HIM... He is confronting her about burning Shireen Baratheon.

oh, that would make sense.  I must have misheard it.

Also, I think last night did a some foreshadowing and that we now know Sansa survives to the end of the show.

GOT isn't suppose to be a happy ending and one of the purposes of the original story was to for GRRM to write a story where the good guy doesn't always win.  I fully expect some form of reset at the end and for it to set up for the massive game to always exist.

But I think Ramsay foreshadowed some future news prior to his death.  He is part of Sansa now.

God what a terrible episode. Probably the worst one of the series unfortunately. They didn't even get the dragon colors correct am I right?! Sloppy writing to me personally. How Jon didn't die in that battle is beyond me!! Not realistic at all. Should have died when he was getting trampled. How convenient the Knights of the Vale that have been in the area for most of the season JUST HAPPEN to show up when it's looking the worst for Jon. Shitty writing smh.

This is my opinion and if you disagree with any of it you are probably just some film school nerd

That crossed my mind but I think it's stupid if they do it. First of all the excuse I've heard for the instant traveling between the Vale and Wall is that they were time jumps. So that means it's about 6 months after she was last with Ramsay.

Also it's just a stupid idea in general. And she could just drink some moon tea.

    • Don't forget the young TEs, Coker, Etienne, and Jimmy Horn Jr! 😮 I'm amped to see how the team develops over the course of this upcoming season.
    • She must be doing tricks on that thang for Bill
    • No, the casual fan gets sucked into THIS^^^ kind of thinking, and it's so woefully incorrect that it's almost sad. The first is what I've said numerous times, NOTHING about non guaranteed contracts save the billionaire owners a single penny, because they still have to spend their cap floor, and the only reason teams ever don't spend the full limit, is to then roll it over into the next season to be able to spend more that year. But in the end, owners pay the same amount of money no matter what. The reverse is also the same, that the players in totality make the same amount of money as well, because in your example of Clowney not getting that money this year, it will go to another player, as the cap needs to be spent. And you say how we just cut Clowney after we gave him the 2 year contract, but everyone including Clowney's agent and himself, knew when it was signed, that it was more likely to be a 1 year contract than a 2 with how it was structured.  The 2nd year was just to be able to spread out the cap hit and he was always most likely going to end up getting traded or cut. It's why agents and players don't care about the total money in a contract, it's always and only been about the guaranteed money, as the years and overall value are meaningless, always have been, always will be.
