If Green Bay came calling for Kemo

If we trade him not only do we lose a very good run stuffer but all of his guaranteed money counts against this year's cap. This isn't Madden.

Didn't have that info. Where do you get info like that?

This isn't Madden? Bummer

It was a five year 23 million contract with 8 million guaranteed. That probably makes about 5 million left if he were traded and the rest of the signing bonus became due. This assumes the 8 million was prorated equally over the five years. His present cap cost I believe with the restructuring is 2 million. So we wouldn't trade him because it will cost us money to do it.

Now, why on earth do you think Kemo would command more than Jenkins did? We got a 3rd and 5th round pick for him. Kemo would maybe get us a single 3rd or 4th round pick. That's assuming the Panthers even wanted to trade him. I don't see why they would, even if they are switching to the Tampa 2.

    • I mean the interception injury he ran down that KB gave up on and the TJ Watt shoulder hit basically did Cam in. He could probably still launch a better 30 yarder off platform than BY

    • I mean, Cam had the arm strength to make those throws without his feet set but it also was one of the factors that led to his arm getting destroyed over time. No QB needs to be making those off platform throws or without their feet being set often, because they are lower percentage throws(usually) and they are more difficult on your body overall. Bryce's physical limitations weren't a complete unknown. He is a moderately below average NFL arm even if his feet are set and he has time. That's not what will solely keep him from being successful. It definitely is a career limiting factor, however.
