You get used to it. Put your thumb on their head between the ears, push down, and pull up on the tail.

Works good for picky snakes. I had a red tail boa that wouldn't eat dead food and he would eat them like this. It seems cruel, but youre really giving them a quick and relatively painless death vs slow suffocation.

Nice snake. I technically own a ball python, but it doesn't live with me. At a friend's instead. Long story. I'll say a prayer for the guy. Dang lunch.

I dont want too hear feed him dead rats he wont eat them, I tried many times I thought he would starve to death and when I gave him a live rat he was in heaven.
