Boycotting NFL Merchandise

For us non PSL owners, the next best thing is to not buy NFL apparel. I haven't bought anything since the lockout begun, and even with a newborn on the way, that Carolina Panthers One-peice aint getting bought!

Anyway, I know its not much, but Im saying no to $30 worth of stuff as a fcuk you to the owners, the players, and even Sir Purr....I said it! :banghead:

It won't matter. What we need to do is all unfollow the players on stupid twitter, so they can all see how much fandom they still have after being such little cry babies. Apparently social networking is the only form of communication these days anyways.

Thats a better idea. Too bad though, if you are whack enough to follow anyone on tweeter, than you aint worth a damn to make that stand.

That's why I don't have a twitter. I think it's teh gay. But for all the players that spit out their diatribe to the masses on Twitter, if one day they had thousands of followers, then they say "don't believe the owners, it's a trap! Poor us. Two a days are too much for what we get paid" and to all of a sudden have no followers... Maybe that would send a message to these glorified divas that life goes on without them and their crybaby tactics. Granted, my above twitter example wasn't poorly spelled enough for it to sound real, i think you all get the point!

I haven't bought a single piece of NFL merchandise since the strike began.

Of course, I only bought one piece before (from our superbowl trip) so I doubt they will be missing my business all that much. :)

Strike? It is a lockout. In the meantime, I have not purchased any NFL stuff.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
