Haynesworth has a very manageable contract. It is designed for another two years at very modest salaries and then he is cut.

All of the guaranteed money will have to be forked out by Washington.

I know a-- kicking coaches like Rivera sometimes like to try and motivate guys that nobody else seems to be able to motivate, but a lot of times it doesn't work. Hoping Rivera avoids this temptation.

With Haynesworth though if he pulls some stupid poo, you can just cut him (assuming you have traded for him) and there is no financial penalty. Maybe the possibility of being a locker room cancer outweighs the possibility that Haynesworth would suit up and play, but I would take a flyer on him.

I would take the chance with Haynes if he didnt produce I would cut his ass in a second. I bet he lights up for another team. I dont like how he handled the Redskin situation pretty dirtbag of him but fug it trade a 7th for him.
