I spoke with Armanti Edwards (you won’t recognize him with his dreadlocks gone, by the way) briefly on Tuesday and he talked about having a fresh start in Carolina under new head coach Ron Rivera. Edwards didn’t come out and say it, but it was fairly obvious John Fox wasn’t his biggest fan.

Biggest development of his career.

I really believe we are going to see what he is capable of this season. He SHOULD be in better shape, and shouldnt have to wait on him "to get his legs".

I am glad he will be getting reps with Cam and the second team for a little while.

I watched the kid for four years at ASU and I know what kind of athlete he is and his playmaking capability. But, i may just be being overly optimistic.

Yeah me too... Worried about having so many guys at WR though, hope he isn't another Dexter Jackson type deal.

Hopefully Rivera and Shula recognize the potential he has in a Randle El role.

Also, the more I've heard since Fox left and the Jenkins interview yesterday, it appears that Fox and Hurney weren't so buddy-buddy, and definitely had differences in personnel opinions.

I think Dexter Jackson was a guy with more straight line speed, Armanti has much better feet, field vision, and looser hips.

Hopefully his route running and hands have gotten better.

don't know how he's going to do, but i sure am interested to see what he can do and how they use him.

    • it's pretty simple IMO.  The Tepper Panthers are the most unsuccessful professional sports in all of sports.  The problem isn't the posters here have changed.  The product dictates the atmosphere more than anything.  In reality, the daily convos about THE worst team in all of pro sports on a fanatics site....is going to feature harsh and critical convo.  Only one entity can actually change that.  It's the Carolina Panthers football team.
    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
