I knew he had a plan. I only hoped it was a good one. After the debacle last year I suspect he had little choice but to do what he is doing given how unhappy players and fans were about 2010.

This season I would be fine with 2-14 with the uncertainty and under development at QB. I am actually excited about this year - last year had a bad taste from start to finish.

We followed a very ballsy and tough strategy: Scrap 1 year of football (and take a lot of crap contracts in the ass) for the sake of a complete rebuild the following year (with a #1 draft pick to boot). I much prefer this philosophy instead of consistently patching a sinking ship. The worst thing you can do is stick in mediocrity year in and year out with your team handcuffed contract wise and draft pick wise.

Unfortunately last year had to happen to make this happen. I still feel like the coaching change should have happened sooner but im not JR.
