I hope we are not finished.

I think we still need a CB, DT and a vet QB.

Anybody have a clue if we are still looking at other FA?

No, we arent done, i see them going after a CB, DT and likely sign Delhomme or Volek to be the 3rd string QB and mentor. As for who the CB will be, i dont know, but i think we should look into Rogers and as for the DT, i really think Tommie Harris should be signed.

There are the potential free agents still out there and then the roughly 900 guys teams will be cutting throughout preseason as they whittle their roster from 90 down to 56. Lots of talented guys will be cut as teams try to get under the cap as well. Lots of time to still find a few gems.

Did you say 56? Is that new, or a mistake?

When do you guys think we should look into drafting a new LT?

Actually, there are a few in the draft next year who need development-they could go in the second or third (Olsen--Yes!) OK, second. ZIemba is not really a LT, but I have yet to see why not. He looked good at the position at Auburn. He has good footwork. Anyhow, the reason I would draft a LT after the first round--we need depth, and he can be developed as Gross ages. In 2 years, Gross will either retire or move inside or to the right side.

I HATE moving Wharton over when Gross goes down. First of all, he kinda sucks at LT, second, it makes us weaker at 2 positions instead of 1.

No it isn't new. Like usual, the keyboard is not my best friend, LOL. They did allow one extra player on the active roster moving the number to 46 but the total number on a roster stayed at 53 during the regular season.

look on my twitter. This is not for attention, i just do not want to cause anymore drama on these boards and don't want every single thread hijacked with my name in it, contrary to what many believe i am not looking for attention. So i am only going to use these boards for talking about the panthers, not anything i hear. Just feel that will make these boards better.

lol

    • I noticed Canales commented on King having a live arm. Weinke coached him and said he could make any throw an NFL team would ask him to make.  His mechanics and general process of throwing looks a little wonky to me though. Haven’t really zoomed in on that though to say more.     Brazzell, his hands look at least decent to me and of course his speed is there.   Love his balance.  Like a cat, always comes down on his feet. Not his butt.
    • If Veabel is the father the name, unfortunately…. well you are looking at Mike Jr.    I feel bad for the husband And the kid though. Especially the kid who had no hand in anything and is just a victim.   Most people would develop some pretty big issues around the chaos of finding out nothing you were told about your father was true and you have been calling the wrong guy Dad.  And trusting your mother, well that is over too.     She should be permanently burned as a reporter or rumor reporter. Whatever she I was.    Who can trust anything she says?   Vrabel has outed himself as a total phony. No credibility whatsoever.
    • My worry is about his concussion. Concussions.  Last thing we need is for him to  be like Jewel. I am looking forward to him benefiting from better players around him in the defense.  Defending QBs under a little more pressure than the last few years.  Better coverage defense in front of him in the middle.
