I've been racially profiled and pulled over too. It fuging sucks. Got cuffed, sat on the curb and they searched my truck. If they claim probable cause, and ask me to step outside of my vehicle, I have to comply, so don't say "don't you know your rights?! Blah blah blah". Obviously you have never been in that situation before. It's quite demeaning.

In other news, thanks for the update KT, though the actual camp update was shorter than your cop story...

Thank you. I posted about this on my FB page and found out one of my HS buddies went thru the same poo about 2 weeks ago riding thru SC. He was pulled over and had his car searched while he was riding with his wife and baby! Dude works at Presby hospital and looks nothing like a criminal. Its bullshit.

When you deny a search they just sit you(probably cuffed) until the K-9 unit comes. You better be nice and quiet during this process, because this is the chance for your big fug up. Say the wrong thing and it might get ugly. If you're calm the dogs will come and sniff the outside and "inside" of your car or you can skip all that and just let them search, fug up and trash your inside like they're going to do anyway. You must've never been pulled before. Either that or the cops treat you better for some reason. You must just be lucky.;)

Anyway, glad you made there safely. I hear the wi-fi in the county jail's a bitch.

First off, I want to send a special F U to the SC highway patrol. Dickheads pulled me over FOR NO REASON (I was not given a citation) and caused me to miss the first part of camp. The racial profiling bullpoo in SC has got to stop. Dudes sicked the K-9 on me and all that like Im some drug kingpin. Im standing there with a Panthers hat on and Panthers shirt on and the dumbass cop asks me "what are you doing here in town?" "do you have drugs in your car?", Im like "uhhh Im going to the Panthers training camp". After that they tore thru my car and trunk searching for anything to lock me up over and found nathan. Dudes just knew I was lying thru my teeth when I told em I aint coming to bring no trouble to your state, I just want to watch my favorite team do their thing in camp. I told the cops straight up, while you f**king with me, the REAL dopeman is probably riding by with 10 bricks in his car laughing at your pooty police work. DUMMIES! :lol:

You shouldn't have been hiding Nathan in the trunk.

I also talked with a photographer from the charlotte observer who interviewed me (and other fans) about what I thought about Cam. He says it will be posted on the observer website sometime this week. There was a guy next to me who said he was a Gamecocks fan and hated Cam but admitted he was impressed by what he saw in camp. Like I said, fug ass cops aside, I had a great day at camp and would advise anyone who can go to go.

      Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.

      We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).

      I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
