NO

Give young guys the reps, we don't want anything getting in the way of their hunger. Get out of Fox Mindset, no vets (not with our talent)! Let them fight for the job!

well if you look at the WR spot.......Rivera thought bringing in a vet would push/motivate the young guys.

He already brought in a vet that got hurt so clearly just having the young stable isn't the ideal scenario for Rivera.

I know, I know. Please spare me the, "WHY DOEZ U MAKE THREADS FOR EVERPLAYERZ?" "HIMS GOT CUT FROM TEH WORTS."

I get annoyed with them too.

However, this one may have some merit.

We lost our DT for the season.

Tank Johnson played with Rivera.

And the Panthers have shown a change of heart regarding players with troubled pasts.

What ye say?

Spot on Dan, AM I doing it right?

u didn't pie yourself....:nono:

You forgot to include the word "Folks" at least 6 times through out the post, as well as the phrase "Lets be real".

So he thought about a vet but never brought one in.

He brought in a familiar vet DT which was acceptable to take away reps. I am sorry but Tank is not worth taking away reps.

Fox would start a vet over talent any day. I like to think that isn't the case with Rivera, if one of these guys shows he can do it, he will play. All coaches need vets, and yes despite what you may think, we have a very young stable, that Rivera is shaping up.

Who???

You know, Nesbett. Mrs. Nesbett.

C'mon, you remember?

In Toy Story 1, when Buzz Lightyear went all crazy and was at the tea party, he kept calling himself Mrs. Nesbett. Obviously that's who is being referred to here.

(Obviously I'm joking. :D)

He brought in a 4 yr vet a WR....brought a vet in at DT (who got hurt).

Tank is better than what we had last year. Both rookie DT aren't gonna pan out as being worth reps this year.

Tank has gone a long way to become a better citizen, I wouldn't mind giving him a look BUT, Cincy is about the worst team in the league, if they have already cut him why would we want him?

Cincy's front office and O may blow.....

but they have a good DC and a pretty good defense.

meh I forgot about Nannee...

but these are vets to teach, not to play so much.

Pretty pessimistic view of our DTs I would hope we have the ability to find one DT out of two in the third round that could take some reps.

Nannee looks to be jumping all the young guns to play.

Ron Edwards would have played as well.

I don't think it is pessimistic, odds just are against 2 3rd round rookies at DT being good enough as rookies to get lots of reps. One might. That was the biggest weakness besides QB....and all that has now been brought in to solve the problem are rookies. That doesn't make them bad picks but it takes time.
