Fua has looked VERY good at DT and McClain has been no slouch either, I've been very impressed by both.

yeah, I think both have looked good.....but it is still early to think rookies are really ready. Fua excites me though...

No. Bringing him in as a one year stop gap is pointless. Let's be honest the Panthers aren't winning the Super Bowl this year. Why not just play the young guys and see what we have?

I thought that was the 2010 mentality.

Having vets on the roster competing w/ young guys has positives for them. More people to learn little tricks of the trade from. Coaches can't teach every little thing.

no I think our DT showed promise and if they do the same thing again this Friday I don't think we will bring in anymore DT unless someone else gets hurt.

DT spot looked decent enough last year in preseason....

it was weak on paper and we saw that when the season starter....we still look to weak for comfort.

There's a connection there with Ron Rivera while both were in Chicago. Something to think about, so I wouldn't rule him out. I personally don't care one way or the other but see no harm if we pick him up.

The one position we positively have to address before September 11 is CB.
