Would anyone get excited about Taylor Mays?

Sports radio in SF seems to think there is growing interest in a Clausen for Mays (+ maybe a late rounder) trade given the dismal QB situation and the fact that Mays doesn't fit Harbaugh's defensive scheme.

Aside from the fact that Harbaugh hates Clausen's guts I could see this happening with DA a more than competent backup and the need to shore up the defensive secondary.

taylor mays sucks...he has awesome measurables but you wouldnt know it from watching him play....i would rather keep pickles in the hopes that he is going to keep getting better...the only way i would do it is if they toss in alex smith cause we need a vet

Unless they have a corner they would be willing to trade, I think we would be better holding on to Clausen for a while to try to grow his value.

They are NOT in denial, they know with Clausen playing they BECOME the frontrunners for the sweepstakes. Just follow our blueprint to getting the number one pick play Clausen around week five or six and you wont win another game lmao.
