My mom fed my son Livermush when he was very young and he loved it. I've never been a fan but I actually buy it occasionally for him. I feel like a terrible parent every time I feed it to him.

I do miss hot boiled peanuts. We used to get them at the roadside just about anywhere in Looosiana.

Pickled pigs feet are a delicacy around here, same for fried pork skins (with meat attached and without.)

I guess we are evolving because we have had a Chik-Fil-A for a couple of years now.

But, the biggie for me is that we are finally getting a Golden Corral. .....

I don't know about out west but when i moved to canada i was totally shocked.

1. No one knew what buttermilk biscuts were.

2. No one knew what sasuage gravy is.

3. No one ever thought to put the 2 together.

Everytime i come home to NC i always stop at some select eaterys to get some.

McDonalds and Tim Hortons just got Biscuts here but they don't taste the same.

because you can poutine for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!!
