Rivera needs to wait 1 more preseason game.

Since Riv said he wants to use the 3rd game as a "mock game" and treat it like the first game of the year I don't think he can wait and risk wasting valuable reps.

Cant compare the staline for Clausen and Newton. Not the same playser and not the same plays. Just look we are suddenly running the ball.

I honestly think a big part of that is that the running game is generating yards and we're getting first downs.

wouldn't be surprised if Rivera waits to see how this week plays out before naming the start for preseason game 3 and with it the regular season, but I don't think he'll wait for game 3, he seems like someone who sticks to his plan.
