I haven't been keeping up with Alex Brown lately, but he used to be a beast under Ron Rivera back with the Bears. As long as he's still good (and he's probably not if he was just released), signing him from the Saints at a spot of huge weakness when he's a former Rivera guy makes a TON of sense.

I haven't been keeping up with Alex Brown lately, but he used to be a beast under Ron Rivera back with the Bears. As long as he's still good (and he's probably not if he was just released), signing him from the Saints at a spot of huge weakness when he's a former Rivera guy makes a TON of sense.

Alex Brown would be a good pick up. He would instantly become the first rotational guy, it would also do us fans a favor as it would bury Everette Brown on the depth chart.

I would imagine Alex Brown would start over Greg Hardy if he were signed. Hell, it might let us release Everette Brown rather than just bury him.
