Next Year's DTs

Assuming we don't find two starting DT's this season, who do you want from next season's FA crop?

I'll be dreaming about landing Ngata while I keep an eye on some of the others this season:

-Rubin (Browns) will get paid big $ as a 3-4 nose.

-Sione Pouha (Jets) is old but doesn't have a lot of wear because he spent 3 years between high school and college as a mormon missionary. Plus he'd give us two Siones on the line.

-Antonio Dixon (Eagles) would be an excellent get. He was undrafted and is coming to the end of a three year contract.

-Antonio Garay (Chargers) is another guy who's getting up there (31) but doesn't have a lot of wear since last year was his first year playing 16 games. Also his DC for that breakout year is now HBIC here so he might be a real possibility.

Can we not focus on sucking this year before we move to focusing on sucking next year? We haven't even lost our first real game yet.

Too much suck to focus on the last two games. Need a hopeful distraction.

High hopes for Fua, McClain and even Balmer, but this season is going to involve a lot of learning on the job and my bet is just one of them is a viable starting DT by next season.

well I'm hoping Sweet Ron Edwards is really able to teach McClain and Fua this season and next years off season, we could probably bring in another vet and I wouldn't be opposed to it.

The fact that Aubrayo Franklin is not a panther right now is ridiculous.

Anyone mentioning Andrew Luck as the Panther's pick in 2012 should be banned.

The fact that Aubrayo Franklin is not a panther right now is ridiculous.

He only signed a one year deal and we'll see him twice if he gets healthy. Another one to watch.
