He has coaching connections here, but oddly enough both in the receivers area.

Ricky Proehl was still a Panther the year we had Haye, and Fred Graves was with the Titans through last year.

Doubt that weighs in much, but ya never know.

Hard to believe that this team once had so much DT talent that they had to cut Jovan Haye and Tony Brown.... Now the Panthers have so little DT talent that Nick Hayden finds himself not just on the roster, but on the active roster.

bring him in. he'd be good for the young guys to learn under, imo. solid vet presence and still has a lot of push in him.

i don't think we ever tried haye at DT.

Honestly, I think you guys are viewing him a bit like a long lost love - remember the highlights but not the reality. He isn't that great and has been pretty poor the last three years or so. He had a couple of hot years immediately after leaving us, but other than that we aren't really upgrading by adding him...
